After school I attended the District Technology Council. I learned I would be attending the SLATE Conference in Fall. I am very much looking forward to this. As a group, we hope to learn more about One to One computing and implementing GoogleDocs into our district.
The next topic was a preview of the technology requests. The school board has set aside some money to purchase some technology equipment. It is probably going to be one of the most political processes I have been through with technology. I am the advocate for the high school, and I hope that I am successful in getting all of our requests fulfilled.
